Page Auditor

Paste a page's HTML source and get an instant privacy report — trackers, analytics, pixels, fingerprinting scripts, cookies, and hidden resources.

How to get the HTML source: Right-click any web page, select "View Page Source" (or press Ctrl+U), copy all the HTML, and paste it below. All analysis happens locally in your browser — nothing is sent to any server.

Audit target

  1. 1 You paste the HTML source of any web page. Page Auditor never fetches pages from the internet — CORS policies prevent web pages from reading other sites' content directly, so you provide the source manually.
  2. 2 The scanner parses the HTML and searches for known tracker patterns — scripts from Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Segment, Hotjar, and hundreds of others in our local database. No network lookups.
  3. 3 It also detects third-party resources (scripts, iframes, images from external domains), cookie-setting patterns, fingerprinting techniques (canvas, WebGL, font enumeration), and privacy-sensitive meta tags.
  4. 4 Each finding is classified by severity (critical, high, medium, low, info) and category. The privacy score reflects how much tracking and data collection the page attempts.
  5. 5 You get a full report you can export as a text file. All analysis is local — your pasted HTML never leaves your browser.

Limitations: Page Auditor can only analyze the static HTML you paste. Dynamically loaded scripts, server-side tracking, and post-load injection won't be detected. For runtime analysis, use the GoAnon Browser's built-in audit feature (coming soon).

Runtime analysis is better. This static scan catches known patterns in HTML. For real-time detection of dynamically loaded trackers, network requests, and JavaScript-based fingerprinting, look for Page Auditor as a built-in feature of the GoAnon Browser.
